Oh. The Dems are gonna stonewall anything they can to protect their voter interest( dreamers). Doesn’t matter how good or bad the bill is. The prob isn’t really the Dems. It’s the factions inside the GOP that are trying to undermine Trump as well.

Hold companies accountable for hiring illegals and paying poor wages.

I dont understand why we dont support businesses with progressive "new tax ideas"

"Do you pay employees an appropriate wage?" - heres a tax cut
"Do you provide decent benefits" - heres a tax cut
" do you manufacture in america/ employe only legal citizens " - heres a tax cut
" do you avoid sheltering your money off shore " - heres a tax cut

If you fail to do these.... Here's a giant MF tax hike

Realistically, there is no chance Congress would pass anything like this. No chance. 40 votes in the Senata...at best.

It be zero votes in both house and senate to be honest. The left would claim we're giving out too many tax breaks, the right would say we're trying to force socialistic benefits on companies.

The government already has wide sway over how the free market works. That's one of the reasons you can't embezzle money.

If a company wants to break the law for financial gain, they SHOULD be penalized.

Punishing someone for stealing and letting the govt pick what is a reasonable wage and punishing/rewarding companies based off that are tremendously different.

I personally think that penalizing companies who hire illegally is well within the reigns of government intervention.

If I work within a system (US gov)...I should have to follow the rules. How do you get people to follow rules? You penalize them for breaking them? Eventually, you get tired of being penalized and you follow the rules.

The point is...this is constructive debate and it's talking about solving the problem. What is being proposed in the Senate isn't solving anything. It's making matters worse and these "open-border hawks" used to agree with common sense immigration policies, but now their political party needs NEW voters...so they want to import them.

It's sickening.
