Re: FanSpeak Free Agency Simulator and Mock Draft
Yes, I am for that maneuvering, but we need a tango partner. I am not sure those players who are available at #16 are going to be so attractive to a team later in the round that they will want to move up for one of them. It might be easier to move up in the second or the third round.
If it happens that we are stuck at #16, I want one of my top WRs."Flacco is driving the ball in that wind....."

RD3 Cobbs WR
RD3 Brandon Parker OT (Comp pick)
RD4 Kyle Lauletta QB
RD 5 Rashaad Penny RB

Re: FanSpeak Free Agency Simulator and Mock Draft
Fanspeak is fun and all, and it does as good of a job with something like this as you can, I guess, but it's not particularly accurate.
1. The carryover number is wrong.
2. The amount needed for the rookies is wrong
3. Teams would like to have at least $3-5M in extra Cap space to carry into the season for injuries (not factored in)
4. The incentive adjustment also isn't factored in. Granted it's hard to know at this point, but - for instance - last year it was a negative $5M+ for the Ravens. I don't expect it to be that much this year, but it's still going to be a factor.
5. Za'Darius' PPE (added $1M to salary/Cap #) isn't factored in.
All that being said, any Cap space numbers that would come from that program will be much higher than they will really be.

Re: FanSpeak Free Agency Simulator and Mock Draft
So ...TE Seferian-Jenkins, WR's Pryor and Richardson, and QB Daniel. I wouldn't hate that. One thing about Daniel, though: the author claims he "will likely command similar value" to Mallett. I'm not so sure. While it's true that Daniel's salary last year was comparable to Mallett's, I suspect Daniel may get one or more offers for more than just vet minimum. I'd be surprised if anyone wants Mallett.

Re: FanSpeak Free Agency Simulator and Mock Draft
TE: If Sefarian-Jenkins has his head on right, he'd be a quality pickup. I think Richard Rodgers is the TE flying under the radar. He was severely underused last year with Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks taking snaps. But he logged a 500 yard, 8 TD season in 2015.
WR: Yes on Richardson, IF his price isn't too high. He is a burner, but not a #1 type. There are a lot of WRs I'd rather have than Pryor - don't trust him.
QB: I'd rather draft one early day three than sign a retread veteran. Chase Daniel doesn't have enough snaps for me to determine much, even after 8 seasons.
