Jax said they knew Pitt wouldn’t go QB sneak because they haven’t done it since 2014. That’s knowing your opponents tendencies

Re: Big Ben retirement watch thread. lol
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette suggests there's a real possibility the Steelers move on from OC Todd Haley.
Haley does not have a contract for 2018, and his relationship with Ben Roethlisberger became increasingly fractured in 2017. One Steelers source told the Post-Gazette that one of the reasons Big Ben openly contemplated retirement was his failing rapport with Haley. The two "rarely talked along the sidelines," and "never huddled to discuss strategy" during games. Roethlisberger reportedly requested QBs coach Randy Fichtner to come down from the booth to create a game-day "buffer" between the quarterback and Pittsburgh's OC. Fichtner is reportedly a "strong candidate" to replace Haley if he isn't re-signed.

Re: Big Ben retirement watch thread. lol
Ben will be back. He has also passive/aggressive thrown Haley under the bus most of the season when things went sideways. I personally find it douchey on his part but from listening to local talk radio there is a definite divide between the two. It’s been reported they flat out hate each other. I will be surprised if Haley is here next year. There is also rumors of Keith Butler being let go in the near future. Hmmmmmmm.

Re: Big Ben retirement watch thread. lol
I heard he has $24 million reasons to stay. But Tomlin has caught Marvin Lewis Disease and may never win another playoff game.

I love this to death! A loss to possibly end his career and maybe the organization will implode too if Tomlin is forced out.
Born in the Rustbelt, I hear Squeeler fans are very unhappy with Tomlin.

Re: Big Ben retirement watch thread. lol
The Pittsburgh fans were spoiled with so many Super Bowls, but none for a long time. I don't think they will ever win another one with Tomlin, he makes too many mistakes. But I don't see them getting rid of him, the team brags about how they have only had 3 coaches since 1969 and they usually have a winning record under Tomlin.
I've noticed Ben racks up a lot of yards and wins, but he always manages to do something to contribute to season ending losses for Pittsburgh. Like fumbling the ball which was picked up for a Jacksonville TD. Many of his yards in Sundays game came after the game was essentially lost.
