Re: Five Years ago today - Rocky Mountain Rainbow
It was at this exact moment that I knew they were going to the Super Bowl that year. NE never stood a chance.

Seen it before, but watching that video brought back all the memories for that game.
The Ravens never made it easy but damn they were fun to watch.
Still one of the best reads you can find. The game thread from that day. Start where Jacoby doesn't catch the 3rd down pass from Flacco on the final drive

Re: Five Years ago today - Rocky Mountain Rainbow
ditto. the on this day just popped up on Facebook of me and my friend celebrating at a dc ravens bar. I ran out of there screaming "team of destiny!!" and "we're going to the Superbowl!!" ah, would love to have a moment like that sooner rather than later...

Re: Five Years ago today - Rocky Mountain Rainbow
2012, the last time the play-offs had any real excitement. Since then, its all been #1 seeds in the SB (with the exception of the obligatory Cowboys choke-job, followed by the Falcons choke-job). The play-offs need a little Baltimore in them to keep the upsets fresh, and to keep the Patriots and Seahawks of the world out of it.

Yeah that is a good one. Just watching it, gives me chills.
I want that feeling again, I used to think every game we started we had an opportunity to win it no matter who the opponent was.
Heading into the games now, feeling is now the opposite. Its almost expected a 50/50 feeling of will we see a shit show today, or be competitive and i hate that
