Re: Predict Next Season's Record, Part 1

Another porous Defensive Coordinator to replace Dean Pees. Little cap room to provide the offense with better pieces when it literally needs about a half dozen in the starting lineup. A tougher schedule and the high probability that we won't see half the backup QBs we saw this season.

There's no fucking way on God's green earth this team is sniffing 9-7. Last season, everyone basically predicted 8-8, but said that if everything went right they could go 9-7. They faced, wait for it................................seven backup QBs. Six if you don't want to count Case Keenum. That has to be high up there in the record books.

0-16 take a Dlineman with the first pick in the 2019 draft.... out of Alabama obviously.

This franchise is circling the toilet bowl of mediocrity waiting to be flushed.

6-10 if they get some breaks. This is a very bad franchise right now and it was masked by how many backup QBs we played this year.

I believe giving up 500+ passing yards to Pittsburgh is closer to the team we really are, rather than the 40-0 shutout of Miami.

The mark of a good team is how they stack up against winning teams. We failed miserably there, winning only 1 game against a barely .500 team. And who cares how good you can beat up bad teams if you can't beat good ones? Even if you somehow slip into the playoffs, you won't last long because your post-season competition will be against the league's best teams.

Sorry. I see us beating the Browns twice. Maybe the Bills and/or Titans. Anything better is just pie in the sky wishful thinking. There's certainly nothing that transpired in 2017 to justify believing it'll be a rosier 2018.
