    The Draft/FA/Coaching Overreaction Thread

OK guys. We know that there is blood in the water and most of us think that no huge changes will be made as regards to the front office/head coach positions. Other than general complaining, it looks like a boring 4-5 months.

So, I thought it would be fun (kind of a sadistic type of fun, I guess) to predict how (and I predict they will) the organization will overreact to this atmosphere built up over the past two seasons.

    I will start this off:

I predict the organization will overreact by...

-They will spend a high draft pick on a developmental QB and a TE and pass up 1st round defensive talent.
-They will trade/cut Wallace instead of continuing to develop him into a slot receiver.
-They will fail to sign and properly structure Mosely's contract.
-They will allow Carr to walk and put all their eggs into the young CBs in order to chase a mid-career WR.

How do you think the organization will overreact as compensation to the fans?

I don't even understand the question. Has this organization ever overreacted as compensation to the fans?

    Is the thread a joke?

No the organization has not, but this year with no people in the seats, I think will be different. Although I don't think they should react to the fans...I just think that they drew a red line with last year's state of the Ravens and with the recent letter by Cass, the stage is set.

    - They'll stick to their board in RD 1 even if it's defense.
    - Wallace is an FA.
    - They'll pick up Mosely's 5th season option if they don't resign him.
    - Carr is under contract and isn't going anywhere.

You guys know they already picked up Mosley's 5th year right?

it was picked up last season. He is signed through 2018 and is a UFA in 2019.

No, this thread is an overreaction to “continuity”. Lol

    Re: The Draft/FA/Coaching Overreaction Thread

Ravens MUST bring someone in here who actually recognizes offensive talent FIRST, way before the draft.
Whether it is a scout or player personnel or consultant or GM like person...just SOMEONE who knows offensive talent.
That is the key for the offense and the Ravens.

I actually think our defense maybe completely loaded and we don't know it...but we need a DC that can shape this group into who we thought they could be. Put them in position to succeed.

Actually, no. They're going to draft seven WRs. Five of them will suck, one will be a ST gunner, and the last one will be converted to FB.
