Doesn't matter you can make 30 steps if you are falling to the ground you still have to survive the ground

On my end both calls were too close to overturn. Ruling on the field could have gone either way on both. And replay is not meant to overturn things called that are up for that much debate. At the very least get rid of the peep shows and have it decided in the league office like MLB does it.

NE, Brady, BB are the media and NFL merchandizing darlings. More accommodations have been made in off-season rule changes and game-day subjective flags to benefit Brady than any other team I’ve seen.
Pitt gets that call and catch against just about any other team. They might be a king in the NFL deck of cards but NE is the NFL’s ace regardless of Goodell’s punishments just ask the Jets this year. Man I just don't buy into it in the sense the fix is in. Yea I know the tuck rule and whatever, just not buying that from yesterday, I just didn't think it was a catch.

Wrong. Here’s the actual rule:

"A player is considered to be going to the ground if he does not remain upright long enough to demonstrate that he is clearly a runner."

So yes, it does matter, and that’s why the rulings were both correct.
