We have beaten no teams with a winning record - But...

4 of our wins came against teams that WOULD have a winning record if we lost haha. (Cincinnati, Oakland, Green Bay, Detroit).

And Miami would be at .500 if we hadn't beaten them.

Not that this means anything, but it's slightly more encouraging than the no-context version of the stat in the headline.

Good teams beat bad teams so this doesn't bother me.

At the end of the year some of these teams could be 9-7. Detroit should be given their remaining schedule. Oakland could be.

Incorrect. The Lions were 6-5 before Sunday.

I wasn't talking about teams that had a winning record at the time we played them, but rather as of today. But good point, anyway!

EDIT: Also, Green Bay was 5-4 when we played them, Miami was 4-2, so that's 3 wins against teams that had a winning record going into our game against them.

Bengals are 5-7; they would still not have a winning record if they had won.

Exactly. Now if/when the Ravens make the playoffs, then I'll "worry" about beating a team with a winning record... Bc

I'm feeling way better about the Ravens chances on Sunday night then I should be. I know the Steelers want to beat the Ravens, but they just got the snot knocked out of them against the Bengals. If the Steelers beat the Ravens and end up playing another slobber knocker, the Patriots will destroy them in 2 weeks.

As much it would sting to lose to the Ravens at the ketchup bottle, beating the Pats gives them home field.
