Brandon Williams Appreciation Thread

In the 4 games since he's been back, the Ravens have gone from 32nd against the run to now 23rd. By season's end, they'll probably be somewhere in the top 10-12. If he hadn't missed any time, I'd say they'd be top 3.

He is good just not worth the money for what he does. He is one of the best run stuffing nose tackles in the game but you need that explosive 3 tech next to him. I don't think Pierce is that guy... he is more of a run stuffer aswell. Henry could be that guy...

the only thing I'm wondering is if in 2 years that 13M isn't that high based on other contracts (This was the argument used with paying Ricky Wagner what he got - it won't be top RT money in 2 years).

I don't believe Pierce even plays the 3-tech. He is often listed as the nose tackle.

Brandon Williams is a difference maker on this defense. He's worth every penny. The Ravens don't have many difference makers these days, at least keep the ones you have.

I wish Urban hadn’t gotten hurt. He really fit this defense. Wormley looks like a damn scrub.

Name another player who can single-handedly turn a rush defense from bad to elite?

B-Will literally occupies an entire side of the OL, destroys any run between C and T.

You wouldn't pay the Pro Bowl Starters market rate. Paying low ball gets you the Browns.

Don't look now, but the Ravens run defense is now back under 4 yards per carry (3.95) for the season. Considering it was 4.3 just a few weeks ago, that's not too shabby.
