Re: The offense
Aside from this discussion, this offense is not going to improve until there is philosophical symmetry on that side of the ball. Either run Marty's offense or run Roman's offense, but don't ask Marty to run half and half.

Re: The offense
Anyone know what exactly the issue with Roman in Buffalo was? I haven't a clue, but I'd love to know.
I also know nothing about his use of passing routes, so I'd be interestedi n that. We all know his approach to the run game, but it seems like we don't know how he'd set up a passing offense."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: The offense
+1. The Center position is underrated. A high quality C is very important for Flacco. The last time he had one - Matt Birk - he went on an incredible run of 11 TDs and 0 Ints against top opposition in bitter weather (mostly) in the most crucial games, including two hostile stadiums. His receivers (Boldin, Torrey, Jacoby, Pitta, Rice) were not great, but had the key virtue of every one of them demanding attention from the opposing DC. And the big enabler was the strong front of KO, Birk, Yanda. Everybody who doesn't get it, go back and look at the damn film and see what Joe could do - and why.

Re: The offense
Yeah not worth 25 million at all. I was watching first things first and Eric mangini was on there and said "I hate when people say you haven't built around a QB making 25 million...... YOURE MAKING ALL THE MONEY." I just thought that was hilarious.

Re: The offense
The sword does bring some good points to the table a lot of the time but he is arguing with logic here. Jensen is giving joe a clean pocket lol... i really would like the sword to bring some actual times when Jensen has given up huge pressure this season. I get the snaps have been iffy noe and again but that is easily coachable.

Re: The offense
It's funny how every negative stat about joe has to be broken down and so muddied that it doesn't seem like a bad stat. It's on this guy it's on that guy, it's not Joe's fault. But the good stats like average 2014 or the playoff run was ALLL joe. Nobody talks about hey diddle diddle, nobody talks about joe just chucking the ball up and boldin bailing him out. It's just hella biased.
