Very similar to Elam. Elam had 1 year of not horrible play (similar to Perriman last year) and then went off the cliff. Pretty much identical.

The Patriots cut their 1st round pick from 2014 after 2 years. They've cut a whole bunch of 2nd round picks after 2 years like Ras-I-Dowling, Darius Butler, Terrence Wheatley and Chad Jackson. If you suck on the Patriots you don't make it to year 3 no matter how high you were picked.
