Huh? The Dolphins tossed money at Ellerbe not the Ravens. And calling an undrafted player a bust is pretty ridiculous. Ellerbe wasn't anything special, but he was a serviceable player. He has a pretty good shot at a 2nd SB ring after signing with the Eagles.

Re: You are the GM. You got 18 months !

Hire Mike Shanahan and try to coax Gary Kubiak to come back as the OC.

Obviously I'd let Shanny pick his staff, but I'd recommend DC's like Chuck Pags, Mike Pettine, etc.

Due to his contract, I'm keeping Flacco. However, I'm not giving him an easy go. Depending on what the Vikings do, I'm signing either Case Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater to compete with Flacco.

I'm cutting the following offensive players or letting their contracts expire without extensions:
    Breshad Perriman
    Mike Wallace
    Maxx Williams
    Crocket Gilmore
    Terrence West
    Danny Woodhead
    Mike Campanaro
    Ben Watson

I'm re-signing/extending the following offensive players:
    Alex Collins
    Nick Boyle
    Ryan Jensen
    Matt Skura

I'm cutting/letting contracts expire for the following defensive players:
    Lardarius Webb
    Eric Weddle

    I'm shopping the following guys:
    Ken Dixon
    Michael Pierce
    Carl Davis
    Za Smith
    Kamalei Correa
    Brandon Carr

In addition to targeting Case Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater, I'm targeting (and hopefully signing) some of the following FA's:
    Davante Adams*
    Allen Robinson*
    Jarvis Landry*
    Brice Butler
    Terrelle Pryor
    Marqise Lee
    Jordan Matthews
    Paul Richardson
    Donte Moncrief
    Shane Vereen
    Jeremy Hill*
    Lance Dunbar
    Trey Burton
    Richard Rogers
    Austin Seferian-Jenkins
    Anthony Hitchens*
    Eric Reid

    * - indicates priority free agents.

    Draft -
Hopefully Id be able to sign someone like Davante Adams and Paul Richardson which would give me a solid trio with Jeremy Maclin. I also think the Ravens have a decent RB group with Collins and in Shanahan/Kubiak's offense, Collins is probably a 1200+ yard guy all day.

The point is, I'd try and set myself up to take BPA pretty much throughout the draft.

    I'd be targeting guys like:
    Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame
    Mike McGlinchy, T, Notre Dame
    Frank Ragnow, C/G, Arkansas
    Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina
    Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
    Derwin James, FS, Florida State
    Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn St
    Darius Guice, RB, LSU
    Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
    Eric Dungy, QB, 'Cuse

I’m surprised most people haven’t realized this, but Kaep doesn’t want to come back to the NFL.

I see many 3-13 seasons with those moves!
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

    Why?

Lmao, I basically said the exact same thing as you did. Except I’d be letting Wallace walk rather than re-signing him and I wouldn’t be trying to sign over the hill expensive backs like AP.

    I don’t know about a #1, but he’d be an excellent addition.

If I am GM I am jonesing for 36 months because of the salary cap problems I would be inheriting.

I'd need to get Flacco performing like a $23MM QB in 1.5 years or dump his ass.

If I were GM, I’d make sure the Ravens get a stud rb and a big receiver and a young tight end. Those additions would help Flacco, the o line and more importantly let Perriman do what he is born to do. That’s run past slower guys!

Josh McDaniels will F up wherever he goes and have spygate 4 on top good head in no time flat. No BB assistant coach will amount to anything and you are kidding yourself if you think that way. Run the list of you need to.

The number one pick in the draft next year needs to be a game changing free safety and they are usually gone after ten picks. Weddle is going downhill fast and the only possible replacement is Young and he is a corner. After that ILB & OL OL OL and a power RB and pray we can find late round and UDFA WR who have 11" hands of glue. I don't care if they can fly, just if they can catch and show promise they can run a route tree.

Pray Tim White recovers and can still ball out.

I agree 100% keep CEO Harbs and get Gary in Baltimore with full power on OC staff top to bottom, he runs it and promises to get a qb coach that Joe likes, respects and trusts (ideally another former NFL quarterback that had excellent mechanics) full communication between Gary qb coach and Joe. Gary will turn Collins into an ace.

Get a defensive coach who is young creative and mean, someone who won't play scared and will stay aggressive. We don't need to blitz all the time but bring relentless pressure in creative ways.

In free agency get Joe either a true 1 or whatever free agent that catches the best and runs great routes.

Finally hire Penn and Teller to work with Joe on the cadence and turn him into Rogers. Joe was great with that vs the Dolphins. He can be great with it.

Finally finally mandate that John must fix the two minute drill it must be sped up 100x. Also Gary must fix the problem and design routes where the WR are at or beyond the sticks on 3rd down instead of 3 yards or more behind the sticks.

Lastly, I would kick Mike Tomlin in the nuts. If I'm a GM the opportunity would present itself and I would take it, just because I feel like stooping to his level once in my life. It might not help the team much, but it might make me feel better.
