I know I have made comments this year that Flacco's play at times has been Boller like, but I think Mallett has much more in common with Boller. He has a rocket arm with no touch or accuracy and seems to play skittish. The team is definitely better off with Flacco. I think the question is how much, though. Is it worth the difference in salary both quarterbacks command. That's a better debate, but it's still futile, because love or hate Flacco, he's here at least through next season and probably the season after.

Flacco 72.3 rating and been terrible most of the year. With him out it removes the pressure to throw the ball keeps the offense simple and puts the game in the hands of Collins and the running game.
