Re: The Movies/TV thread
Watching Mission Impossible. I think this is somewhere on the list of my all time favorite movies. Not super high but it’s on there. Too bad the sequels went in so much more of an action direction. They are still good but not as good imo.

Re: The Movies/TV thread
Exactly. Even just for myself a ticket and a large soda (gotta cut back on Dr pepper) is just around 20 if jot more and usually I cave and get something random. I think this should be something they continue to offer but I could certain movies not allowing it

Re: The Movies/TV thread
ITT said above that Once Upon A Time in Hollywood was $20 to rent
Then it was said that Amazon has it for $3
That's the issue I have with it. Direct TV charging $17 more for the exact same movie rental.
I'm spoiled because I havent had to pay to watch a movie in a very long time. Was assistant manager at local movie theater 15 years ago and still get in free. :) But our prices for admission were only $4 for adults and $2 for kids. Matinees were $2 each. It's up to $6 and $3 now I believe. So $20 is a bit much for me to spend on a movie.

Re: The Movies/TV thread
It’s $40 or so for me and my wife each time we go to the theater between tickets, popcorn, and drinks, so I’ll definitely pay the $20 to watch stuff if they put more theatrical releases out on digital.
We’ll see what happens, my friends back in CA don’t think everything is going to go right to digital, they say there is going to be literally nothing coming out this summer. Everything is going to get pushed to fall/winter or next year. There may be some exceptions to that like Black Widow possibly going to Disney+ so they can make some cash.
