It has beautiful locations and I recognized some from cycling holidays. Will do a lot for Irish tourism!

Set on a small island off the coast of Ireland in 1923. The people are quite poor (though they have money to be in the pub at 2pm every day!!) and work as small farmers, fisherman and other jobs. A tough life

Two friends fall out. One is a nice pleasant dull chap but quite kind and popular. Content to never leave home, no ambition or education. The other faces his mortality and fears he life was wasted and he will be forgotten.

It has humour which can be quite dark. The writer/director is known for his black comedy.

The acting was superb in my opinion and the many nominations were deserved

I liked it however some will hate it also. It’s a film that splits opinion. The Irish slang was a bit difficult even for this Irishman

Usually something like this would be up my alley, I made it about 30 mins in and was just super bored. I really like the leading actors and I'm sure I'll get back to it, just havw to be in a certain mood

Just read the Wikipedia or a synopsis somewhere of 1 and start with 2. If you get a couple episodes into 2 and still aren't feeling it, then I'd say it's prolly just not for you lol. S2 and 3 have an arc with Victoria Pedretti as his love interest (literally, her name is Love) and they have insane chemistry, or I thought so at least. She's also a way better actress than the girl playing Beck. Show isn't for everyone though I think Charles tried it and felt the same way as you and we usually have similar taste.

Never seen that around the MD area. Where did you get it?

    Watched recently.
Tv series Ghosts. I usually do not go for network series but this was actually really good. It has a funny plot, a lot of neat characters and you very relatable lead characters. Me and the wife are enjoying it. Almost through season 1.

Caught up on Season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown. It is good, but starting to get very repetitive and annoying. Like how can there be so many common problems per episodes to solve? Season 2 has been bit of let down.

Old movie. Highway to Hell. No idea why but it was on TV so I watched it. Early days of Kristy Swanson and Chad Lowes career. I never realized it had Ben STiller who is god awful and his dad Jerry in it and I think a sister. They had bit parts and were terrible. Ben Stillers acting in 90s was trash.

90s western movie called Purgatory. It actually had a really cool plot but the cast was pretty trash and acting was pretty trash. Worth a watch once but never would watch it again.

Watched Luther Fallen son movie. The cast looked good, Idris Elba and Andy Serkis, and the story sounded good but overall the movie was pretty meh. Worth a watch but nothing to rave about

Anyone seen Everything everywhere all at once?

I was a little disappointed with Picard seasons 1 & 2, but season 3 is knocking it out of the park. If you're a Trek fan, you should check it out. Ep 5 from last night was the best so far.

I saw this yesterday natural causes. He was in incredible shape for his age. Crazy to think he died of natural causes.

    He was very underrated actor.

You, love it or leave it, I agree that S2 and 3 are the best (besides Victoria Pedretti) but maybe it's just not "your" series.
Last night I saw Luther (the movie), quite twisted but entertaining (I recommend the series too).
There are not too many interesting things to see (or at least I didn't find them

You could start from 2 and follow the story, but you're going to miss a lot of Joe's character, the depth he has, it's weird because you end up seeing someone you shouldn't be nice.
