Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread

I was laying around all day yesterday after 2nd vaccine shot did a number on me. Felt like I had the flu all day. My heart rate was very elevated and kind of scary.

Watched an oldie From the 90s The relic. The movie flopped in theaters but for some reason I enjoyed it. Not bad considering the sub par cast. Back when Tom Sizemore could act. Probably the only time I remember Penolope miller looking hot.

For some reason I watched Believe Me (Abduction of Lisa Mcvey) after reading how its been blowing up all over the place. The cast was beyond sub par, the only actor I even recognized played some bit parts in the Xfiles series back in the 90s but I do not even know his name. The movie was ok, the lead actress was really good and very cute. I could see her getting some roles after this but overall the movie is not worth a rental fee. I did not at all understand the social media hype its been getting.

Watched Raiders of the Lost Ark for like the 350th time. Huge Indiana Jones fan so it never disappoints.

That will definitely alter your movie going experience at least for few first years. Hopefully by that time all of this Covid bullshit will be gone forever.

Movies is a big thing for me and my family. They love the experience especially me and my son. We see a lot or atleast used too before Covid.
Yeah. I can count on one hand the number of movies I saw on theaters the first few years of my daughter's life.

Same with me and all my kids. Also, don't be the guy that brings the baby to an action movie thinking they will just sleep through it. They never have and they never will. I have never quite understood the folks that do that.

It's kind of anthology series. Each one has nothing to do with the other.

I think season 2 gets shit on too much because of how good season 1 was

For my fellow music history movie fans …check out the movie CBGB. It’s of course about the legendary NYC club that was basically home to the birth of American Punk. Stars Alan Rickman as the owner/visionary Hilly Kristal.

For those not in the know …CBGB’s gave us such bands as :::Blondie , The New York Dolls , Iggy Pop and his band The Stooges , The Talking Heads and of course ….The Ramones!

Will do. I always liked Alan Rickman as an actor. Is it on Netflix?
