Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread

Watched on old Will Ferrell movie, from abou 15 years ago, that I really liked but somehow missed the first time: Stranger than Fiction. Dark humor. He plays a dweeby IRS agent who starts hearing a voice in his head and it turns out his life has been taken over by the protagonist in a novel that the writer [Emma Thompson] is struggling to finish, and he has to figure out what's going on and how to stop her from killing the character [him] off.

    Mandalorian starts this week

The Expanse season 5 starts in December (amazing show, watch through the first 4 episodes before giving up - after two you might give up - after four you will want to immediately watch the rest as quickly as humanly possible)

Can’t wait for another season of baby Yoda memes...
I’ve seen the first series three times already.
It feels like the writers wrote a video game and last minute decided to make a show instead, t I’m ok with that.
Favreau is one of my favorites in Hollywood at this moment... he‘s money baby...

I'll never forget watching it and the Montage of the Mandalorian riding thst weird beast and I'm like... Man, this sound alike rocky music. Sure enough, same music producer.

I'm not a star wars fan really, but I enjoy it.

Just finished The Trial of the Chicago 7. Absolutely fantastic. Holy hell. Hits pretty hard with the times in our country. I was never taught anything about it, so it was very eye opening. Definitely one of the better movies I've seen this year

Can I see it if I never saw the first, or will I be confused?
