Re: Mobile Quarterbacks
I sure did.
It's pocket passers vs. mobile quarterbacks.
Mobile quarterbacks are not going to be the majority in the future because pocket passers/drop back QB's win much more. ...You'll see, those who take off and run won't stand up against the violent and tough brutal defenses that they face.

Re: Mobile Quarterbacks
We should have signed Kaepernick when we had the chance. He's pretty mobile

Re: Mobile Quarterbacks
Or Fran Tarkenton. There have always been mobile quarterbacks. It’s not some new wave. And there will continue to be statues in the pocket, because if they are good, they can win. Prime Tom Brady could still play in this league. There is more than one way to run an offense.
Two things have changed that will tilt the balance more towards mobile QBs: 1) they are more protected than they ever were before, so teams like the Ravens are more comfortable deploying a mobile QB as a weapon, and 2) as old stereotypes fall away, athletic players are given more chances to compete at QB instead of being shifted to WR or RB."Chin up, chest out."

Re: Mobile Quarterbacks
Josh McCown and Ryan Fitzpatrick should be on any list of mobile quarterbacks. Those guys have moved around a lot.
