Probably a good move for all parties. He seemed miscast as a Saint, they throw the ball, what, 70% of the time or close to it? In Arizona his touches should go up significantly.

Good move for the Cards, its a rather cheap insurance policy to ease DJ back into things, but make no mistake, once hes 100%, Peterson will be relegated to only a handful of snaps. Hes far superior than both and ellington is still the better 3rd down back. wouldnt be surprised to see one of them cut when he does.

FWIW though that would have been a nasty 1-2 punch like 5+/- years ago.
