Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
correa is an outside backer dont matter where he drafted or who infront of him.
if u want an ILB draft a dude in the 3rd or 4th round.
he should of competed with z smith and judon his rookie year instead of being called stupid and pushed to play ILB.
oz did the right thing and select an OLB who should of beat our z smith for a starting job.
harbaugh and pees messed him up its easy to see that

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
I agree with the two gentlemen (Baldy and Goode) before me. Here's an idea : if you want an ILB, why don't you draft one who has college experience in the position? Just a thought... Bc

Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
This is where I say common sense is not so common. You draft a guy that elevated to your board by doing pass rushing and outside line backer things. That’s how he got on your board by doing those things. You get him, then all the stuff that made you draft the guy, you take it and throw it out the window and stick the kid in a position that he has never played a whole lot of outside rushing the passer from it mostly and expect him to progress in a complicated defense at the NFL level....outstanding John Harbaugh and Ozzie Newsome!

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
Then there was Myles Jack who wicked Bpr and other draft specialist here had mocked sitting right there and you needed an ILB then there was Noah Spence who BC Wicked and BPR had mocked sitting right there as well and we probably could have gotten both.... so done with the retardation

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
Our guys here have done a much better job scouting and mocking boards than the ravens over the last 4season. Like I said if the ravens followed a couple of y’all boards here we would be looking like Sackonsville on defense and the Rams on offense.

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
I could see Correa simply failing to make it as an NFL OLB. It happens. But it seems that the coaching (sic) staff gave him very little opportunity to show what he could do. Also seems they decided that not only was he not ready to play OLB, but also that he didn't have enough talent to be coached up to play the position he was drafted for. Am I missing something? Was he immediately exposed as an absolute disaster at OLB? If so, which scout was fired for turning a 2nd round pick into zero value?
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
Kruger looked like a disaster until the Ravens figured out to use him as a pass rushing specialist. I don't necessarily trust the Ravens have given Correa a proper chance to prove himself as an OLB.
If I was running the team, Correa would spend next training camp proving himself at OLB and scrap the ILB experiment.

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
They decided before training camp ended that they were moving him to ILB. That is not nearly enough time to figure out if he can hack it at OLB. They did it out of necessity and still ended up with a shitty pass rush. They haven't earned the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
This was one case where I have to give credit to RaveninWoodlawn, because while neither or us were surprised by the move, he really saw it coming sooner. At least, I think it was him, who delved into how they raved about his versatility during the draft. It was like the move was the plan all along.

Re: Kamalei Correa , 1 snap.
It 100% was. Woodlawn and Jab as well.
From watching a few Boise games, Correa did line up at ILB and didn't look out of place, but I don't think he did it enough to justify being versatile. The thing they did with him was similar to what we used to do with McPhee and are now doing with Za Smith a bit. They'd line him up inside and probably 80% of the time blitz him to have another edge rusher out there. The thing is he used to adjust to the run really well and he's just not doing it at the NFL level. He gets lost, he doesn't get ot the spot quick enough adn he gets washed becasue he doesn't have position."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”
