    Worst case scenario

We're picking at 1 who are you drafting? Do you take a QB? I know it's probably unlikely we lose the rest of our games but for arguments sake... who would you draft?

You take Saquon Barkley. Ravens and Joe are tied at the hip for better or worse for the next two years. If they lose every game they get a new HC with an offensive background. Look at what McVay is doing with the Rams.

Not going to happen but I'd also take Barkley. My gut tells me he's going to the Browns

I like Barkley and I'm a Nittany Lion. But I'd hesitate on Barkley. He has a lot of miles on his odometer. He seems to be getting nicked up more in every game (I've seen a few of them).
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

so did ray rice though, and LT. and AP

Penn state is ridiculous having him play in blow outs and on special teams...but its what I'd expect out of their program at this point tbh.

I would take Barkley or see if I could pull a sweet deal from someone that wants the top pick. Whatever you feel about Flacco, reality is they can't part ways for a couple years, so you need to put pieces around him to give the team a chance to win. The following year or two years? I'd look at QB then.

agree. Get Barkley this year ( or Bryce Love if we arent drafting #1).

Sign Hundley 2019 as a stop gap. Find Qb 2019-2021

So true, I don't there enough wins for a PO appearance, or hell even a winning season, but Harbs might be able to wring out enough to stay.

    Re: Worst case scenario

See, I'm not looking at drafting 1 being worst case scenario. That clearly would set up a reboot and give the Ravens good capital to start. I'm looking at drafting like 11, meaning no real shot at the playoffs and not in a position to get the elite of the elite.
Given the scenario I take a QB.
For those interested in Barkley, I would suggest trading down and then taking him.
