Under HC Sean McVay, Rams have scored 142 points, the 4th-highest total by a team in its first four games of a season with a first-year HC.

Re: What head coach would you want next season?
I'm not trying to discount what McVay is doing there, because he clearly knows how to run an offense.
That being said, look at their offensive personnel for a second...
QB: First rounder
RB: First rounder
WR: Two first rounders, 1 2nd rounder (Watkins, Austin, Woods). Yes, they traded/signed two of these, but concept remains
OL: Three 2nd rounders
Basically whether via draft/trade/FA, they have EIGHT key offensive players that were drafted in the first two rounds of the draft.
For comparison sake, the Ravens currently have FOUR, which also includes Perriman, who's essentially a role player.

I like Jim Bob and def McDaniels. Would love to see Pagano come back as DC. In the draft I’d grab a QB in 2nd round. Maybe get Falk from Wash St? Or the kid in Wyoming. Barley would be a home run in round 1 if we could swing that. If not DeCosta as GM ...not sure who I’d want. Maybe see if Gruden wants to leave the booth and run a team.

Jim Bob
Matthew Stafford has gotten 6.1 YPA while taking 11 sacks over the last three games, but the Lions are being carried by their defense
