I don’t necessarily think he’s soft, but I think his laid back, aloof nature detracts from his overall competitiveness. I think he likes winning, but he doesn’t love winning.
I think he’s more worried about his herniated disk or tearing up his knee than he is making tough throws where he’s going to get rocked. If that’s what you consider soft, then sure.
I just don’t see or hear a guy that loves the game. I see a guy that likes playing football, but would probably be just fine if he retired tomorrow.

Peyton and Big ben have had far superior talent compared to Joe.
David Carr never had talent around him... had flashes of talent himself, but was thrown into a dumpster fire to the point where he didnt trust his eyes... It has nothing to do with "toughness"
We David Carr'ed a SuperBowl MVP. Thats tragic
I do think its hilarious that "surviving" / escaping Rape charges is somehow a positive building block in your eyes though lol
