Re: Other Team Football News (Around the League v2)
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Other Team Football News (Around the League v2)
ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports ex-Giants coach Ben McAdoo is a candidate for the Packers' offensive-coordinator job.
McAdoo was Green Bay's quarterbacks coach before going to the Giants. The Packers' offensive coordinator job isn't a coveted role because Mike McCarthy handles all the playcalling, but it woudn't be a bad spot for McAdoo coming off a disastrous 2017. Green Bay also has interest in Colts assistant Joe Philbin.

Re: Other Team Football News (Around the League v2)
We all should know about January Joe but January Joe was at his best when Jim Caldwell was apart of The Ravens coaching staff in 2012. Joe Flacco and Matthew Staffold received big contracts but both have one guy in common during the time they did and that's no other than Jim Caldwell. I think it would be a smart decision to rehire him as The Ravens quarterback coach and he could bring back the no/sugar huddle that Flacco seems to excel at.
