Re: Breshad Perriman
When a receiver runs good routes Joe doesn't have to guess where to throw the ball. There are reasons why Watson caught every ball when targeted. He runs good routes and has great hands. Give me Watson, Maclin, Wallace and West and leave Breshad in the tunnel.

Re: Breshad Perriman
Honestly, everyone might as well enjoy as many threads about him now while they can, because he's going to be an afterthought soon if he keeps this up.

Re: Breshad Perriman
Is it the Ravens can't draft WRs or can't develop them.
Meanwhile, the Steelers...
Perriman's injuries have cost him valuable reps. He hasn't really had the chance to work on any part of his game and he really needs to work on every part of his game, especially his hands.
Coming out of college he was compared by some to Roddy White, who early in his NFL career also had issues with drops. That's his ceiling.
More than likely he never comes close to reaching that, and doesn't even give us the production that Torrey did.

Re: Breshad Perriman
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Breshad Perriman
Yeah, it's incredibly insulting to Torrey right now to compare him to Breshad.
He left on a sour note and IMHO, a lot of people here had unrealistic expectations for him at various points, but Torrey was a big part of our success from 2011-2014, 2011-2012 in particular. Perriman hasn't remotely come close to having the impact Torrey had on our team early on.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story.
