Tough break for Dixon and the team. However, he is a skinny legged guy who had multiple knee injuries in college and that pattern continues as a pro. Staying healthy with his body and an aggressive running style will be tough for him in the NFL.

If you count one knee injury (2013, MCL sprain, grade 2, missed two games) and one ankle injury (2015, grade 1, missed two games) as multiple knee injuries, then yeah. But when you add those to the 2 MCL injuries in 2016 and now this one, it is a bit disconcerting.

And we drafted him anyway. . . . We should be disappointed. But surprised? Afraid not.

To be fair, he was the 8th player the Ravens selected that year and the 6th RB overall by NFL teams. I suppose you could make an argument for a couple running backs drafted after him, but he was a 4th rounder. It isn't as if the Ravens spent a high draft pick on a high-risk/high-reward kind of guy.
