    Oher Released

Concussions are horrible. He could have been a great right tackle had he stayed there his whole career instead of moving back and forth

I always liked Oher. He had a fantastic mean streak. A lot OL get this rep as a mauler, but Oher at times would be at a different level. Angry. Nasty.

His biggest problem was that he could not remain still before the snap.

If you watch film that is not the case. But believe what you want.

You really believe that Harbaugh B.S.? During the quarter of 2010, the refs weren't calling him. The media brought it up to Harbaugh and he gasbagged the answer when he said, "Oh, he's just that fast." No, John, the refs were that oblivious. Finally, the refs caught up to him.

That's why they should have moved him to guard, where Oher getting out in front before everyone else because of that quickness would not have been as noticeable. Also, as quick as he was moving forward, he only had average lateral quickness which is why he struggled against speed rushers and would rely on trying to time his jump with the snap to compensate, which also drew it's share of flags.

The man was a road grader, who was outstanding at pushing DL backwards, but struggled once he was out in space. A far better run blocker than pass blocker. He would have been an All-Pro at guard in a man blocking, hat on a hat scheme, I truly believe he would've.

His adoption by the Touheys (?) might have been the best thing in his life, but it doomed his career once it became a book & film., raising the level of hype surrounding a decent, if not All-World, OT to an un-achievable degree.

I asked a friend if the Ravens should resign Michael, and he asked, "Oh him?"
I responded, No, Oher." ... Bc
