Re: Maxx Williams's injury
36 year old coming off a torn achilles
31 year old with an unsure hip
25 year old who hasn't made it through 16 games in his career.
24 year old who has been suspended twice and never played mroe than 11 games.
That's your TE corp.

Re: Maxx Williams's injury
I dont even remember how Maxx hurt himself. IIRC, it didn't seem like that bad of an injury.
For fuck's sake, can the Ravens get some decent luck going their way sometime soon?Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Maxx Williams's injury
If OJ Howard turns out to be the next Eric Ebron, will all you people eat your crow? Let's not anoint him just yet.
Bad news about Williams, another lost high round pick that they'll probably never get much of anything from. Injuries happen, but damn, I agree with wicked, we're due for some goddamned good karma for a change. Hopefully that arrives in the form of a healthy Crockett Gillmore, I still believe he's the best TE we have on the roster.Never get in a fight with a pig; you both get muddy, and the pig likes it...

Re: Maxx Williams's injury
I think there's probably less then a handful that are anointing him but the fact remains, with the crop we have at TE right now, the need for a play making receiving threat in the middle of the field to replace SSSr.....Howard certainly would have been a welcome pick where he was taken.
He's really no more or less of a risk or uncertainty as anybody else drafted at this point in the mid rounds and would have definitely been filling a need. Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

Re: Maxx Williams's injury
Melvin Gordon had microfracture surgery just a few months before the season started and had a breakout year. I know there's varying degrees of severity with that injury though but it shouldn't really mean his career is done yet. I absolutely hated that pick when we made it but if Maxx can actually get on field that's a big plus for this team.
You guys wanna hear a funny joke?
