You are supporting a losing argument.

Please tell us why you didn't include 2014 and 2013...

2014, when we spent 5/9 picks on the offense, and 2013 when we spent 4/9?

You can set an arbitrary end point wherever you want. Fact is no matter what metric you choose, the disparity isn't half as bad as yall make it out to seem.

I'm also fine with spending disproportionately to create one elite unit as opposed to two pretty decent ones, but thats a different argument

So to you, drafting 4-7th rders on offense is equal to 1-3 rders on defense?

Quantity is more important than quality?

That's any interesting position to take given that bust rates increase from Rd 1 to 7.

And it's not nearly as even as you imply.

I've placed the total amount of offensive cap hit per team next to the player that you mentioned. The average of the non-Ravens teams is $90MM. More than the Ravens, although not by much. Again, I'm not saying the Ravens have done well with their cap spending on offense. All I'm saying is that they are not abandoning the offense, at least by how much they spend on it.

First 3 round in last 6 draft is 14 defense and 4 offense.

In that time we have also signed players like Jefferson Canty weddle doom and refined Jimmy williams Webb etc

Our offense has signed an old Steve Smith ben Watson and Jeremy zuttah.

It's out of whack. Those are facts. No one knows if it's for the better yet

Anyone that tries to massage the disproportionate numbers above to say something other than what it clearly shows has an agenda.

Prior to that we added Flacco, Rice, and Oher in the top two rounds in a two year stretch. Aren't arbitrary cutoffs fun!

FA includes an additional 1000 yard receiver as well (and Danny Woodhead!)

We've also won six playoff games and a SB in that stretch so...

My agenda is I'm fine with the way the Ravens have constructed their roster, and I'm excited to watch them play football this season. Watch out for this guy!

Pointless going back much further than 4 years because we rarely keep our own draft picks anymore. Who drafted recently has got one, Jimmy? Williams? Think that's it. Before that your talking flacco Webb yanda pitta
