Re: 2017 Training Camp / Preseason
It depends on what circumstance that you're talking about.
Offensive coaching? Play calling? Play design?
It's not even close - it's Jim all the way.
Motivation, functioning as a CEO, managing every aspect of the team, being someone you can trust in front of the media and a wide group of people - John Harbaugh, all day.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: 2017 Training Camp / Preseason
Then there's not much you can say.
Jim had three good years in San Fran, but the team dropped to 8-8 and they were headed for a crash. Jim is a great college coach. He will never be a great NFL coach. He does not work and play well with others. If John had jumped ship after the Super Bowl season, it would be no contest in their coaching records. But he stayed through the tough times.
Maybe you believe the 9ers with Jim would have won more than 7 games over the last two years. Maybe a few more, but not a lot more. Vince Lombardi wouldn't have been able to compete with the load of crap that has been the 49er roster for the last two seasons. Jim's record looks awesome because he left just before they went down the tank. He was smart to go back to college, because he'll never make it long-term in the NFL."Chin up, chest out."

Yeah... I'd take John over Jim as an NFL head coach. So there you go, you don't have to so much. The FWO actually think Flacco is better than Brady, so I'm not gonna say much on that...

Re: 2017 Training Camp / Preseason
The only reason I would take John over Jim is composure. Everywhere else, I would take Jim. I believe Jim could have led the Ravens to a title. I don't believe John could have led the 49ers to a title. The only major difference was that one had Flacco and one had Kaepernick. Jim just loses his cool too much for my comfort and I saw it rub off on those 49ers teams.

Re: 2017 Training Camp / Preseason
We are all aware that Trent Baalke is a tool. That doesn't change the fact that the team was bad and getting worse.
In Harbaugh's last year, the team dropped to 8-8. The following year, they won 5 games. Then they won 2.
Are you telling me the team would have been good if Jim stayed?"Chin up, chest out."
