Little off topic but I think we are going to be running alot of 2 TE sets. I'm still high on Watson have a great season. If him, Pitta, Gilmore, Williams can provide some plays that would be big for us to open up the top with Wallace/Perriman. What we really need is a possession receiver. I would take a flyer on a Boldin or Michael Floyd. Both would be solid redzone targets on the perimeter.

I would definitely take a shot on Michael Floyd if he's out there.

He would already be on the team if I'd known he was out there and I was the GM.

Why wouldn't they? Brown is the only one who costs any money. They did keep 6 on the roster for most of last year. The key is their special teams play. If they can play special teams they have a good chance at staying on the roster.

Wait. Don't we have Perriman for that?Or is it Wallace? They pull back the secondary to open up the 3-yarders to Pitta.
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

I've heard rumors that the new GM of the Colts does not particularity like Phillip Dorsett. When Aiken was signed they said that the #3 WR position is wide open and he could beat out Dorsett. They're not cutting Dorsett but they might shop him, similar to what we did with Jernigan. Would anyone want Dorsett? He was really good in college but has looked kind of dopey as a pro.

Could we honestly believe the coaching staff could produce something more than Indi could?

I would take as many players as I could get my hands on at the WR position and just let them all battle it out...keep Wallace & Perriman, and let the rest battle for 3 spots.

Did NE release him or is he a FA.??

He may get some kind of suspension for the drunk driving or parking thing he did last fall.

After he gets fired from his new commentator gig, he'll probably end up on some home shopping network selling assorted NFL apparel.
Rex wasn't head coach that year. I think it wa Marrone
