What teams treat Franchise QB like us?
serious question ---
What teams have a franchise QB and don't get him young offensive weapons in the draft year after year? I know we drafted a WR in the 1st round two years but other teams seem to take 1 or 2 playmakers every year and hope some stick to work with their franchise QB. Do other teams have a franchise QB and then just try to build a great defense and not worry about offense too much?

Seattle maybe, but even they drafted Tyler Lockett and went out and traded for Jimmy Graham.

I have a better question. What top end receiver has won the Super Bowl lately? I guess you could say TE Rob Grownkowski, but he was drafted in round 2 and wasn't even on the field this past Super Bowl. Julio Jones was a non factor.
Demaryius Thomas in 2015 vs Carolina had 1 catch for 8 yards. The Seahawks won with Defense. The Ravens in 2012 won without a true #1.
The list goes on of teams who have won without one of those top ten rated 1st round picks. But the winners do have one thing on common, they all have a franchise QB, a pass rush and good secondary play.
I think Ozzie is doing just fine. I still trust him.
2016 Top receivers. Only one made the Super Bowl in a losing cause. Julio had 4 catches and no TDs.
1 T.Y. Hilton,
2 Julio Jones,
3 Odell Beckham Jr.,
4 Mike Evans, WR
5 Antonio Brown,
6 Jordy Nelson, WR
7 Brandin Cooks
8 Amari Cooper
9 Michael Thomas
10 Jarvis Landry,

Re: What teams treat Franchise QB like us?
New England did to Brady up until 2007 when they went and got Randy Moss and Welker.
It was a different era, but they did.
Since then? Russell? They did go out and get Jimmy Graham though.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
