    Re: Draft

If Roquan Smith is there at 16, the Ravens should sprint to hand that card in.

Honestly the guy from UTSA who I think is going to dominate in the NFL is Marcus Davenport. Massive powerful defensive end. 6’7”, always in the backfield. Had 8 or 9 sacks this year and a bunch of TFL. Small school, but hugely talented. Mark my words he’s going to get a bunch of sacks at the NFL level.

I've seen him mentioned often on the twitter.

Have you ever noticed that some people can catch fish and others can't. I have a friend in New England when he goes fishing for trout catches five or six. People can be standing on the left side and right side of him in the same stream or river and not catch a thing. I have another friend who has stopped fishing altogether because whenever he went he couldn't catch a thing. Ozzie has strengths and weaknesses. He should stick to his strengths and ignore his weaknesses. So as you can see I disagree with you completely on this.

The guy is 6'5" and has a near 40" vertical.
I don't know much about him. But I'll take your word for it. Can he hold onto the ball? I would still like to draft two very good offensive linemen as our first two pics.

I did a breakdown a while ago of the number of players Ozzie has drafted at various positions in rounds 1-3 since the Flacco draft. We're 1 for 2 at WR. We're abysmal at safety and linebacker. Yet nobody ever has a problem drafting them.
I'm kind of old-school as you might have already noted. I'm all for building a great offensive line. Flacco needs ample time and space. I would love for him to come in to spring training knowing he has a solid line in front of him. If anything would improve Joe's accuracy it would be ample time and space. A good offensive line would also drastically improve our running game. I think that we should first build a great offensive line and then work hard at getting two very good wide receiver's. Someone else on the board mentioned drafting that tight end from Penn State. I'm all for that.

I'm starting to get the impression that only the first three picks will be on defense this year. So that's an improvement. Time to dive into speedy combine warriors who can't catch a football to save their life. Any suggestions?

The draft shouldn't be all about 2018. 2019-2022 are important too.
