Twill not happen and should not. One (early) and one (mid-round) is the most draft capital we should spend. The Ravens have other crab cakes to fry (TE, ILB, O-line)... Bc

Let's keep in mind that they will still lose (or resign) some their free agents, and sign some other free agents.

Does your perspective on the draft changee if they sign Tavon Austin and Sammy Watkins? I think it does. What if they sign Jimmy Graham?

We all know that we're not supposed to let "need" drive the team's draft strategy. Easy to say, hard to be as disciplined as Ozzie has in sticking to this philosophy. That, and right player, right price. It's simple stuff but he really is amazing in his ability not to panic and force a solution. I'm sticking with that thought, and going to suggest that too many cooks in the kitchen explain some forced draft picks.

And of course, not every pick works out.

But if they stick to picking players they are 100% convinced will help, and find stop gap veterans to fill the need positions, I think that works in the long run.

Maybe that's too simplistic, but I like simple.

(P.S. This is actually a post directed at myself to prepare for the disappointment of not drafting DJ Moore)

Seems more and more likely Ridley will be available at 16.
Not sure if I would rather have mike gesicki at 52, or double dip on WR with Christian Kirk or Anthony miller.

I don’t think Gesicki is even going to be an option where we are in the second. I’ve seen a couple that have him in the bottom of the first now

All depends on who we get in FA.

Whoever we draft, I like the thought process of this mock draft, that the Ravens want to go on the offensive (WR and TE). There are possibilities (too numerous to mention) that we all would be happy to get. Personally, if we drafted Sutton and Andrews I'd be ... Bc

Good chance Da'Ron Payne will be available at 16. Would Ozzie pass him up?

Nah, Ozzie wouldn't take Payne with all the other team needs, right? Right?? RIGHT????!!!!

This is my biggest worry. You keep seeing guys like Vea "falling" and that just seems to juicy for the big man to pass up. fml

So would the Ravens drafting Moore receivers this year give you Sutton relief?
