Something fun for a change.

I wanted to thank everyone for their patience this past few days. We got a particularly nasty little script injected into the forum that caused a bunch of pop ups and slow site performance. It took a long time and a bit of luck to find what was causing it but we have patched it (hopefully), and are putting some stuff in place to prevent it happening again. This cluster, combined with the Orioles giving up something like 50 runs to the Yankees in two games made it a shitty weekend here at the Admin House although I did have some 60 Min IPA at hand and Tottenham did beat Arsenal today which tempers the mood a little. Edit: O's won. Yay.

So, in addition to installing a few new anti-hacky things behind the scenes, I thought I'd add something fun. I installed a mod that allows you to have a status next to your name when you post. You will see mine above. You an also add a small graphic indicating your mood. Just a fun thing. Don't put anything too rude. Admins and mods can edit it :)

To get it, just go to "My Profile" and set your status and mood. After you do it one time, you can do it right from the forum pages when you view your own posts.
