Very much a longshot, but then again, it is the Browns...
Hot, how much lower can they go?

Hello, is there a Browns fan down there? ... Bc

Steelers keep tinkering with that secondary. Trade for JJ Wilcox.

I guess since Bucs got TJ Ward, Wilcox was expendable to a degree. Good depth for sure and could play if there is injury.

Never seen so many trades or even close to what we've seen this year.

Edit: Found this article, makes it sound like they are loading up for one last run with Ben. http://www.espn.com/blog/pittsburgh-...17-title-chase

Agreed on the trades, crazy. That's about as active as I've seen the Steelers in forever. Thanks for sharing that article. Like it says that secondary is not gonna strike fear in opposing QBs but should be an upgrade over last season for sure.

Potential trade enabler: Some teams aren't valuing draft picks as much

While the rebuilding Browns have stockpiled draft choices in an effort to go young, the reloading Patriots have increasingly traded picks for veterans such as Kony Ealy, Brandin Cooks and Dwayne Allen. Ealy has already been released, but in an era in which limited practice opportunities work against player development, there's a case to be made for adding proven NFL talent. The Browns drafted 14 players in 2016. They'll be fortunate if more than a couple pan out.

"Draft picks are becoming less valuable across the board," an exec said.

Picks are still valuable, of course, but if they are no longer sacred, another potential impediment to trades is diminished.

Four of those Browns 2016 draftees were WRs. Yet they recently traded for Sammie Coates. I guess having a load of draft choices doesn't mean much if your GM doesn't use them wisely... Bc

The Browns have had a ton of picks for years now. They've had 11 1st round picks in the past 6 drafts. 4 of those 12 have been in the top 10. That's also with 4 different GMs in charge during that time. You are completely right. The quantity means nothing if you can't judge quality.
