Wanted to make sure Baldy's post made it in here as it is pretty interesting.

I can't imagine what is going on in Buffalo. Seems to be a power struggle.

there is some suggestion that the Jets might let go of Eric Decker. If we can add a receiver of that quality, it would make the draft look much better.

That was before Devin Smith got hurt yet again. He tore his ACL which means they really need Decker. Obviously if Decker is let go the Ravens have to pounce but I'm not counting on it happening

    Jets drafted several young receivers

You really think they'd cut Decker because of a WR they took in the 3rd and 4th round?

Possibly next year if those guys show something. That would be a pretty crazy move to do it without knowing if those guys can play.

This has been rumored since McDermott was hired. Whaley supposedly had no say in that hire. The owner of the Bills is very hands on. Last week McDermott was asked about what was going on and completely side stepped the question. I'd be very surprised if Whaley stays

They really should have got that out of the way well before the draft.
I wonder if scouts were getting different instructions (of the direction their focus should go) from the front office and the coaches.

    No confusion at all

“There were several instances of Bills coach Sean McDermott using the word "I" instead of "we" when describing Buffalo's decisions in the draft Thursday night. McDermott at one point corrected himself by saying "we," but it served as another sign that GM Doug Whaley's role is diminished. Whaley has not spoken to reporters since the Senior Bowl in January.”

I think it was something that was negotiated as a part of the process and rather than fire Whaley pre-draft and lose all the scouting they just held on to him, with him knowing that after the draft he was a goner. I looked at their draft and could tell these were not Whaley type moves. Pretty sure McDermott was pulling the strings.

My brother in law is a die hard Eagles fan and the rumors up there are that Agholor, Matthews, DGB, and Kelce are all up for grabs.

Odds are a few of them will be cut. Maybe all of them.
