The 2017 Insanely Way Too Early Knee Jerk Win Loss Thread

    Here it goes ....

Sun, Sep 10 @ Bengals - Win, Jefferson notches his first INT as a Raven

Sun, Sep 17 vs Browns - Win .... its the Browns

Sun, Sep 24 vs Jaguars - Win .... Wimbley is overrun with purple, making this a home game

Sun, Oct 1 vs Steelers - Loss .... just too tired from the previous weeks trip.

Sun, Oct 8 @ Raiders - Loss ... We just can't seem to play them well

Sun, Oct 15 vs Bears - Win ... Bears are becoming the new Browns

    Sun, Oct 22 @ Vikings - Win

Thu, Oct 26 vs Dolphins - Win

    Sun, Nov 5 @ Titans - Win

    Sun, Nov 19 @ Packers - Loss

Mon, Nov 27 vs Texans - Loss ... Board goes nuclear with the meltdown

Sun, Dec 3 vs Lions - Win

Sun, Dec 10th @ Steelers - Win ... just because season sweeps rarely happen between the two teams

Sun, Dec 17th @ Browns - Win .... Its the Browns

Sat, Dec 23rd vs Colts - Win ... Secure wild card

Sun, Dec 31rd vs Bengals - Loss ... Nothing to play for, as we secured the wild card

11-5 record, Harbs and Ozzie are safe from firing, causing a Heaven's Gate type mass suicide amongst the uber irrational faction of the Fire Harbs crowd.

Led by The Butter Knife, all involved are found wearing nothing but tube socks and t-shirts with Kyle Shanahan's face on them. The caption under the photo reads "What Could have Been"

.... that was satire for those who are not interweb savvy.

Don't see us winning all 3 against (titans, Vikings, and Dolphins. Easily we could lose 2 of those games. We never play the dolphins well home or away. Vikings and Titans are not the Jags or Browns. Hardly push overs.

I think Colts can be a loss as well. Luck can put up points.

Realistically its anywhere from 7-10 wins being the ceiling.

We face the STeelers after traveling back from London. Not an easy task
We cant seem to beat the Bengals lately.

9 out of the last 10 games we play are all quality opponents. Not an easy last 10 games.

I based all my assumptions on if this offense even plays as good as it was last year. Right now, with the departures our offense is even worse

Largely agree except for the bolded part. Not sure where you're getting that the Dolphins have been a problem. In the Harbaugh era, the Ravens are 6-1 against Miami in regular season play and we positively wiped the floor with them last year.

Agree that the Titans & Vikes will be tough opponents.

We don't play the Dolphins well? We've lost to them once in the past decade and blew them out last year in what was easily our best game as a team. We match up well with them.

I think there is still some residual pain from Cam Cameron beating us in 2007 in December for their only win of the year.

But for me it was soother by Ed Reed against Pennington the next year
at one point of my life I was exactly Pi years old

    Huh?

We are 8-6 all time, 6-1 in the last 7 games and destroyed them last year at M&T.

    Sun, Sep 10 @ Bengals - Win

Sun, Sep 17 vs Browns - Win

Sun, Sep 24 vs Jaguars - Win

Sun, Oct 1 vs Steelers - Loss

Sun, Oct 8 @ Raiders - Loss (Some fans jump off a bridge thinking the first 3 weeks were fools gold)

Sun, Oct 15 vs Bears - Win (They turn it around quickly, unlike last year).

    Sun, Oct 22 @ Vikings - Win

Thu, Oct 26 vs Dolphins - Win

    Sun, Nov 5 @ Titans - Win

    Sun, Nov 19 @ Packers - Loss

Mon, Nov 27 vs Texans - Win

Sun, Dec 3 vs Lions - Win

Sun, Dec 10th @ Steelers - Win (Vindication from last year)

    Sun, Dec 17th @ Browns - Win

Sat, Dec 23rd vs Colts - Win

Sun, Dec 31rd vs Bengals - Win (Still in the hunt for the North, and Win it with this victory).

13-3 best case, 10-6 worst case. This schedule is just too easy.

    8-8.

+/- 4 wins due to injuries/health of key players, 4 to 5 critical plays made/not made each game, the vagaries of an official's call/non-call and the random bounce of an oblong shaped ball.

I see a whole lot of 11-5 I don't see it at all. The defense will/should be better but the offense is going to be worse and that's going to tire out the defense and pops is still driving

I am in with you except I am +/- 2 wins. I always see Harbaugh's teams as 8-8 with a variation based on the bounce of the ball; so to speak. I am not sold that he makes enough adjustments to move the needle too far from 8-8 anymore.

Man, one of the few times I'd be totally fine with a worst case.

Schedule is about as good as the Ravens could ask for. I think we'll split with Steelers and Bengals and sweep Browns. I see wins against Jags, Bears, and Lions and losses against Packers and Raiders. Dolphins, Titans, Colts, Texans, and Vikings are a little harder to call, but I think we can get 3 out of those 5 to reach 10-6 and, hopefully, the playoffs.
