    Why he's money was already budgeted in the cap. They had more then enough capnspace for the people they moved up to the squad from the last few restructures

    Yeah but you had to replace him on the roster which meant another minimum contract added. It might not be much but those continually add up. 2 more guys on IR meant two more contracts added to the cap.
