Nothing was done though. You kind of made my point. You're feeling good about it but militarily and strategically, not a thing was accomplished.

There are now reports that Trump called Russia ahead of the attack, Russia tipped off the Syrians and very few planes and equipment were distorted.

You are right it's a feel good story or moment but in the grand scheme of things this doesn't do anything

Same here, just hope our involvement militarily ends here and it should unless Assad continues with his chemical weapons. If so, then Congress should be involved in any further decisions made, if their not on one of their many long recesses.

What I am afraid of is some type of terrorist attack by Syria as retaliation. I mean not very many things shocked me with 45 but this was out of left field last night.

I mean combat troops. The military personnel that are there now are there in an advisory roll.
