That's not true. I have seen this story on CNN, MSNBC, among others. Fox is giving it a lot more attention though.

ABC evening news did not mention it once last week. I don't consider cable mainstream, I meant the major free networks.

I watched it on ABC, both GMA and their evening news. There was also something on it on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday.

Fox is flat out wrong on this one.

This is true. Note Obama end the wet foot dry foot policy. Do you think he would have done that if Cubans voted reliably Democrat as a bloc? Hell no.

I don't know if that is the case. BOTH parties have been very lax in caring about the influx at the border.

You may be correct. I would say all of the Democrats in congress see the illegals as votes. Everything the Dems do is based on wanting more Democratic votes. They want as many people as possible sucking on the government teat, so they won't bite the hand that feeds them. That's why they want big government, welfare, food stamps, funded housing, government run healthcare, etc. The Republicans see the illegals as cheap labor, at least they used to. Now, many of them don't mind big government either because they like the fact that the status quo has made them very rich and are afraid to give that up.
