I put on about 10 pounds since early fall (up to 170 from 163). I figured I may as well go hardcore since I added the weight. Set a PR on deadlift today of 425.

Stronglifts is a great resource. Got me started on the 5 3 1 about 5 years ago.

So I've lost 10 pounds in a week. Stomach flu that caused a stomach ulcer.

I have never felt like a bigger piece of shit in my life. No energy, I couldn't even lift the bar right now.

    Listen to your body, Cole.

Rest is the best thing for your body right now. Rest and good nutrition.

Doing a cleanse next week. Not a juice cleanse or anything, but more of a body flush. Just really really clean eating for a week straight. Get the stomach back in order. Probably get back in the gym in a couple weeks. Not worth forcing it at this point in my life.

I am having a similar issue with the gym in that I keep tweaking my back when my kids ask to be tossed on the bed and the like. It is annoying because after taking motrin, I feel like I could lift, but know I shouldn't.

Well, the Sword has plateaued. By eating an ungodly amount of fruits/vegetables per day, I was able to get rid of the excess weight gained from the medications I was put on. However, since I'm still not cleared to return to the gym or go running, I can't put my body through the necessary exertion to get my waist lower without sacrificing the little bit of muscle I have left. I'm stuck at a 34" waist.

Any timetable when you'll be eligible to come off the pup list?
