    Justin Forsett

Seems to have no burst and can't break tackles. I think they need to activate Buck Allen and make a decision on Forsett when Dixon returns.

    Thoughts?

    Offers nothing after the catch.

    Goes down when breathed on.

Doesn't run well in this scheme.

    We need Dixon back bad.

And who did buck Allen piss off?

Drinks Dr. Pepper and eats Popeyes. At his age he should be doing everything possible to get that edge. I know some disagree but I think the fact that he's not disciplined enough to clean up his diet just shows his total mindset to skate through on the bare minimum. Overaction ends/

    He's not fast.

    He's not powerful.

    He's not shaky.

    He's not a vision specialist.

He's not good. I'd rather have Buck who offers more in the pass game.

The one thing Forsett could do well is play within the scheme and not dilly dally around. Now, for whatever reason he refuses to get the hell upfield.

Like I said in the other thread, the Ravens would be better without him. It's a hard thing to say because he's a good guy and contributed so much in 2014, but he's nothing at this point as a player. He is he definition of a drive killer when he touches the ball. Buck Allen needs to be active and he and West need to be the guys until Dixon is healthy.

He's done. I really thought Forsett had 1 more season in him with the competition pushing him. Nope. Forsett can't make anyone miss and all those yards he had after contact in the past are gone. It's over

He's not good but West doesn't look great either, mainly because there aren't many holes. This line needs a lot of work.

    Yup.

He had those issues before, but Gary Kubiak can make a blind "little person" into a 1000 yard rusher and it's no coincidence at all to me that he hasn't been close to the same player since Kubiak left.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

First article I wrote made this exact point.

Forsett doesn't have anythign he excels at.

West can be your powerback, Dixon is your every down back and Buck is your pass catching back. Forsett is your shit backk.

I reluctantly agree about Forsett to date but I don't think there is anything objective to suggest that West or Buck is going to be much of an upgrade with our running playbook and OL blocking. Dixon might actually be a different style runner who can be a playmaker. I hope he is and hope we will find out shortly but that is all pure speculation right now. I think our running philosophy and poor blocking are more or an issue than which guy on our current roster is running the ball.
