2016 Regular Season Around The League Thread

The news sounded horrible about Bridgewater's knee.
I hope it is NOT as serious as it has sounded so far.
I wish him a quick return.

But one of the first things I thought was the possibility that Dallas and Minnesota may find themselves both eyeing Mallet. The Ravens may get an offer they can't refuse. Just a thought.
    What say you?

I'd trade his ass for anything

can we make this the 'around the league' thread?

Mike Vick makes sense to me. Josh Freeman is out there, TY Yates, Zack Metenberger...

After seeing the 3rd preseason game, Mallet is so much better than Josh IMO. He's cheap, keep him.

I don't see Mallett going anywhere.

Teams aren't trading more than a very late round pick for Mallett. I rather keep him than get a 6th or 7th round pick

Just as an aside, what a fucking joke it is that Bridgewater has a probowl appearance on his resume. Just goes to show that the nomination means dick these days.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury was "gruesome," and that his teammates were "disturbed and horrified," with some even throwing up.
It sounds like we're dealing with a Kevin Ware/Paul George-type situation. An ambulance and paramedics were summoned when Bridgewater went down, with the paramedics being something longtime observers had never seen before. Bridgewater isn't going to play this season. The question is fast becoming if he'll be ready for 2017.

Did he suffer some kind of Marcus Lattimore injury?

But it was a non-contact injury from what I read? Shades of Pitta.
