What do you want to see Thursday night?

Finally. Football, or at least a reasonable facsimile.

What will you be looking for? NO INJURIES is a given, of course.

I want to see an O lineman step forward.
I want to see how what's left of our WR/TE corp does in game conditions.
I want to see the D come up big -- like the Raven D's of old.

    How about you?
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

I'd agree with all that. Specifically, I'm going to be watching Correa, Davis, Elam, Gillmore, and Butler. These guys will probably all get some playing time this fall, and their rapid development can greatly impact the team this year.

Re: What do you want to see Thursday night?

This is where everyone says "No injuries"

But I think you're bang on.

    Specifically:

I want to see Alex Lewis holding down the fort at LT.
I want to see Watson in his limited reps get at least one catch. Outside of that I want to see 4+ catches from Jeremy Butler, 2+ from Chris Matthews and 2+ from Clay.
I want to see Correa all over the field. I want to see Judon and Ochi getting penetration from the edge. I want to see Tavon Young blast someone from the slot and lock down his man.
I want to see Keenan Reynolds catch all of his returns and have a high average.

    NOW GO GET IT DONE

Pretty much what y'all have said. I want to see the 1st team defense play like a unit. Over the last couple years I just feel like sometimes our defense looks like a chicken with it's head cut off....a vast difference from the Ray and Ed dynasty.

Phelps win another gold medal. I doubt I'll get to see the Ravens game, at least not live

The 4th rounders basically, that is the make or break part of being a great draft or not.
    Young Moore Lewis Henry Dixon

Henry is the interesting one, selected before "potential steal of the draft" Dixon

Compare Judon/Ochi if I can see enough of both

    Always no injuries.

Besides that I'd like to see some running. We have a lot of running backs and a lot of tight ends. Let's run the damn ball with some 2 TE sets and see where we're at.

On defense I want to see some pass defense. I don't expect much of a pass rush which will be a good test for the corners and safeties. Lets see how they do with the ball in the air a lot

    1. Does Elam appear as if he is finally learning how to tackle?
    2. Will Zach Orr, our next Bart Scott in my opinion, show more of a leadership role now that he is the presumptive starter next to CJ?
    3. Will Correa show traits of being a Clay Matthews-type player for us?
    4. Has Dean Pees learned that the secondary cannot play off coverage on 3rd and short?
    5. NO KEY INJURIES!

To be fair, the swimming is on pretty late and the times of the events are posted online. When his race comes up you can just switch it over.

    Given that it's a pre-season game:

    1. Pass Defense: I want to see how well the young CB's play (Young, Canady, Price, and Wilson)
    2. Running game: With the amount of competition at RB, I'm excited to see who performs the best
    3. Pass Rush: See how guys like Judon, Ochi, Correa, etc. can get after the QB
    4. Second Year Players: How they've improved from last year (Davis, Williams, Smith, Allen)

no injuries, the defense mostly Correa and the other young guys, the secondary as well. The Oline, the run game.
