that went pretty much exactly how I thought. I expect a slightly closer game 2 and 3 and then another blowout in 4. They simply arent anywhere on the Cavs level.

    thats funny.

mostly because theyre the second seed and had a good season overall but again... nowhere in the vicinity of able to compete.

This goes back to my top of the league being better. maybe theres more a discrepancy between top to mid than top to bottom statistically, i have no idea, but the point is, its harder to win in the playoffs (though the east only has one top team) and easier in the regular season. Look how many teams the last 10-15 years rank in the top win percentage of all time. 17 teams account for the top 7 win percentages, and 9 of those were since 2000. 8 in the last 10 years.

Eastern conference need to step their game up. Its almost as embarassing as the NFL South divisions were a couple years ago. It would be great if the Wizards or really any East team could get KD to give LBJ some competition but the further OKC goes that's looking less and less realistic.

Boston i think is only a piece or two away. Pacers are a lot closer than what their record is. The Heat are actually there imo, if they just allow bosh to play. The Knicks.... well a fan can dream.

Boston's rebuild may be one of the wildest I've ever seen in sports history.

And no I'm not exaggerating. They have like 3 1st round picks this year and landed #3 overall and they were a playoff team.

They lost Evan Turner so drafting Buddy Hield at #3 makes a lot of sense. Then they can get a couple big men with those other picks. Stone from Maryland with their mid-pick and then Thon Maker the Australian kid that was playing prep in Canada would be a great flier. That dude has all the potential in the world, just needs some grooming. A 7'1 big man who can shoot threes and run the floor is rare.

This shit really pissed me off. I know that Americans laugh at Canada in every sport except hockey (maybe baseball - at least we have some pros), but seriously CBS, suck a fat one.

No CBS made that poll during game 7 for people to vote who will the NBA championship and after the Raps won game 7 they didn't update it to say Raptors as an option. Which wasn't that big of a deal and quite frankly people overracted about (The Toronto mayor wrote a letter to CBS, lol), but why would CBS not just apologize? Instead they post a picture of Lebron James holding a broom?

I dont think media outlets are supposed to troll teams like that. I cant think of another example where a major outlet has done something like that during a playoff series.
