Re: 2016 RSR Mock Draft (Take 2) - Picks Thread
WIth the first pick in the 2016 RSR Mock Draft (Take 2) the Tennessee Titans select Laremy Tunsil, Tackle, Mississipi.
After finding our franchise quarterback, we have to do everything we can to help him succeed. Most importantly, that means keeping him upright. Tunsil should be plug-and-play at left tackle, holding that spot down for the next decade.Last edited by HotInHere; 04-03-2016 at 01:04 PM.

Re: 2016 RSR Mock Draft (Take 2) - Picks Thread
With the 2nd overall pick in the 2016 RSR Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns select: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota St.
Discussion: This wasn't an easy pick, and I actually switched the pick the last moment before hitting reply.
The truth is: I hate straying from my board, and as we all know it, if you look at Cleveland's roster and depth chart we see just a lack of overall talent.
They've spent 1st round pick after 1st round pick on QB's who haven't panned out.
But at the end of the day if you think Wentz is the best this draft class has got and has elite upside, you take him and move forward and take the BPA mantra moving forward because they could use quality talent at almost every level of both sides of the ball: OL and WR is a huge need on offense (no prospect is worth taking at #2).
Defensively they spent a 1st round pick on NT, Danny Shelton last season but he could still use some help on that front lines.
LB - both on the edge and on the inside is a need.
Safety position is void of any long term or even short term talent.
At the end of the day - fill the most important position and figure out the rest later.
I like the physical traits of Wentz and despite his knack for overthrowing WR's, he displays some beautiful ball placement and shows the ability to be able to attack all areas of the field with his arm.
With RG3 in the mix, I feel fine giving him a RS year or two, to develop, to learn the nuisances of the pro game, and to allow this front office to shape and form the team around him by building a team he could eventually lead.
I think Cleveland'd dream scenario is trading down and staying in the top 6 and still taking Wentz.
They just need as many picks as possible and even though recent history has shown them not making good player evaluations and having most their top picks being more bust than boom: acquiring more picks in this year's draft and possibly future 2017 picks would be their ideal scenario.
New HC, Hue Jackson, is pleased with this pick as he has his protege and franchise cornerstone to build around.
Thanks.

With the 3rd pick in the 2016 NFL draft, the San Diego Super Chargers select, Jalen Ramsey, DB Florida St.
Our top rated player on the board, and he falls right to us. He also fills what arguably is our biggest need. We're extremely happy to have Jalen on board, and can't wait for him to suit up!
