    Concern about the Rams?

After seeing the issues with the Rams and Vikings yesterday, is anyone else concerned about cheap shots on our players? I think Mike Zimmer made some really good points yesterday. Jeff Fisher and especially Greg Williams coached teams have a well earned reputation for cheap shots. Flacco, Forsett, and the rest of the guys better watch out for their knees and heads.

Meh every team has dirty players. Just the way the game goes.

We all know who Greg Williams is and so do the coaches and players. No concern. Just go out there and take care of business. If someone takes a shot at one of our guys, you wait and get them back during the play.

    There's always a concern.
Not that you want to see anything happen like what happened yesterday but if it was going to happen at least it happened somewhere else.
I would think now since it did happen it would be a point of emphasis and warning handed down to the Rams by the league maybe curtailing some of what they might be doing.
Don't recall anything from them along these lines happening in the past though since Fisher and Williams have been there.
Not so sure Zimmer didn't overreact to an incident that just happened to one play in a close fought game.

Defensively, they will be as physical as we'll face this season. So I say it'll be like the Denver game.

Not anymore. They're going to be under a microscope now.

Williams has a long history of being a less than moral coach so nothing involving his defenses surprises me these days. It's an embarrassment he's still allowed to coach.

Great point! And if the St Louis player gets fined for his hit on Bridgewater, the next couple of games the officials should be watching out for
    hits like that.

I can't believe he wasn't tossed on the spot. I hope Peyton kicked him in the privates; they need the ball, plus he's 3 yards away from breaking the all-time record, in the city where he played most of his career, and numbnuts pulls a stunt like that.

I hear you, but from what I read it was more than just that one play. Although I didn't see the game, admittedly. I think HR makes a good point though, they're under the microscope now so should be on their best behavior for awhile.

So Talib's response is that he poked at the helmet and missed _

It sure looks like he used two fingers to hit the helmet:

It will be interesting to see how the NFL (and Kubiak) handle this incident.

Talib came real close. I don't know what he was thinking.

Why are they under a microscope now? Gregg Williams and the great Jeff Fisher have been known for years for this type of coaching which is to say to play through the whistle and deal with the consequences afterward.

Gregg Williams wouldn't be in the league if not for his boy Jeff Fisher so shouldn't he and they have been under a microscope well before yesterday?

I just don't get this league and their hypocrisy.
