Trade for a WR?
Now with Perriman out indefinitely, is it time to make a move for a WR?
With Steve Smith set to retire at the end of the year, our WR corps for next year looks awfully thin...
Not to mention that for the remainder of this year it's looking like Smith and our group of TEs are the only reliable/talented targets we have.
I think trading something like a 2nd round pick for Alshon Jeffrey would make sense - if we can't sign him long-term, then at least we get a 4th round compensatory pick or so. If we can sign him to an extension, we have our two bookend wide receivers (hopefully Perriman turns out to be one of them) going into 2016.

Re: Trade for a WR?
Highly unlikely, but I'd fully support them trading for someone.
Someone else to consider is Justin Hunter with the Titans. He's not a factor for them down there and I bet they'd take anything for him. He's got size and vertical speed. Maybe a change would do him some good.

Re: Trade for a WR?
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Trade for a WR?
Not an Ozzie type move
Would be shocked if he did go after Alshon...........then again he does a small track record of surprising us (I.e Boldin)
