Matt Flynn ...... Anyone?

Since Matt Schaub's been doing his best Kyle Boller imitation in camp; would anyone be opposed to signing newly released N.E. QB Matt Flynn as Joe Flacco's backup?

Let's just sign every FA that's been cut…

If we wanted Flynn, we would've signed him before we got Schaub.

Schaub has reportedly looked better the last few practices. Flynn is injured and could not pass his physical with NE, hence the reason he was cut.

Before Flynn was released he suffered a hamstring injury, so he's out for now. Schaub will be getting a lot of reps during the first preseason game in a few days, that should tell us a lot. And he counts as 2m against the cap whether he's on the roster or counts as dead money. He'd have to smack Harbs in the head to lose his job this early in TC. Closet the torches and pitchforks for a while.

No. It's a proven fact that Flynn can't look good without Green Bay's elite weapons. He'd look just like Schaub does, maybe worse due to being in a new system.

After watching Shaub in his last days in Texas through his disastrous turn in Oakland and now his stumble bum performance at the Ravens camp. Matt Flynn in a body caste would be a sharp improvement over Matt Shaub as backup. Dead money against the cap? FO may have to eat it should Joe Flacco become injured. There's no way this guy should be pulling down a NFL check.

Have you watched Matt Flynn play football? I've never seen a guy living off of one career game like he has.
